Digital Art: Roar

In this piece, I was looking to convey a feeling of anger, and how it can explode in an instant. To achieve this end, I made the colors of this piece primarily red and black.

The splotches of red seeping over a cracked black border was a particularly difficult effect for me to achieve without detracting from the face contorted in anger, and I feel the effort was worth it; this piece is one of the most expressive I've ever done.
